Wigan Athletic full-back Ronnie Stam is reportedly in Belgium to negotiate the final details of his potential transfer to Standard Liege.
Swansea City have admitted an interest in the Dutchman, but it appears that Stam is poised to leave England following Wigan's relegation from the Premier League.
Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur tweeted: "Sudpresse announces Ronnie Stam (Wigan) is close to signing at Standard. He was in Liege yesterday."
Stam, who moved to the DW Stadium from FC Twente in 2010, made just 11 league starts for the Latics last season.
