Wigan Athletic are reportedly interested in signing Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper David Cobeno.
The Latics have the third leakiest defence in the Premier League this season and manager Roberto Martinez wants to add another stopper to his squad to provide competition for Ali Al-Habsi and Mike Pollitt.
According to Sky Sports News, Martinez has sounded out a move for Cobeno, who could be allowed to leave Estadio Teresa Rivero on a free transfer this month.
Cobeno, 30, was part of the Sevilla squad that won the UEFA Cup in 2007.
