Wigan Athletic are reportedly in talks with Sporting Kansas City midfielder Roger Espinoza.
The 25-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the MLS, has admitted a desire to play in the Premier League.
"I am proud at the interest. It would be a privilege to play in England. This shows my good work has been noticed," he told reporters.
Espinoza has been with Sporting Kansas City since 2008.
