Dave Edwards has urged Bakary Sako to remain with Wolverhampton Wanderers next season.
The winger, who has scored 13 goals to help Wolves secure promotion back to the Championship at the first attempt this season, has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs in recent weeks.
However, despite having acknowledged that the 26-year-old has the quality to play in the top flight, Edwards is keen for him to continue his career at Molineux.
"I do think he's Premier League quality, but hopefully Sako will think he's got some unfinished business in the Championship and will want to help Wolves get back to the Premier League," the Express & Star quotes Edwards as saying.
"He's definitely got the quality to play up there – you look at the quality of Wolves players in the past when we were in the top flight and I don't think there are many better wingers than him.
"He's got everything. He's so strong, quick and powerful and his assists and goals record is brilliant and you need someone like that in your team."
Sako has 12 months left to run on his current contract.
