Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Terry Connor has insisted that he is taking no notice of rumours linking Paul Ince with a return to the Molineux.
Ince yesterday claimed that he could do a better job than Connor if he was put in charge of the Midlands club, but Connor insists that he is focused on his own job.
"I don't pay any attention to it. Paul Ince hasn't worked at this club for a number of years. I'm in charge and I've got a job to do," said Connor.
"That's what I've been asked to do by the club. I've not been told any different.
"It's been a tremendous challenge. It's been an honour and a privilege to manage Wolves. I just wish I could get some results for the fans of this club."
Wolves' 2-1 loss to Stoke this afternoon was their sixth in a row, leaving them six points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League table.
