Wolverhampton Wanderers interim boss Terry Connor has admitted that his side "must do better" after their 2-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Blackburn Rovers at Molineux.
A brace from Junior Hoilett has seen Midlands club slump to 19th in the Premier League table with three defeats in their last six.
"We must do better. It's no surprise how tough it is. We've taken our fair share of knocks but the boys are up for it and they want to fight to stay in this division," said Connor.
"We didn't take our chances and Blackburn did. You want to win your games but it's not always possible. We've got Manchester United next but strange things happen, we beat them last year and we still believe we can stay up."
On a bad day for the club, a number of supporters called for the board to be sacked before, and during, Saturday's match.
