Dorus De Vries has insisted that he doesn't regret leaving Swansea City for relegated Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Dutch goalkeeper will return to his former club on Saturday following a summer move from the Liberty Stadium.
Despite the Swans going on to flourish in their first season in the Premier League, De Vries believes that he made the right decision at the time.
"I made my decision based on things at the time," he told the Express & Star. "It was the right choice despite the outcome at the moment.
"I've been asked 'did you make the right choice?' by a lot of people. Looking back, there's only one answer to that, but looking back at the day I signed, yes it was the right choice.
"Wolves were more established in the Premier League at the time. It's easy to look later on – but I don't have a magic wand and no-one can predict the future."
The Midlands club will be playing in England's second tier next season for the first time since 2009.
