Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Matt Jarvis believes that he is starting to rediscover his best form.
The England international had struggled to find some consistency during the early part of the season and has been recently dropped to the bench by manager Mick McCarthy.
However, he came on as a second-half substitute against Wigan Athletic last weekend and has claimed that his performance that afternoon has boosted his confidence.
"I was pleased to get on and play 45 minutes and get back to what I do best," said Jarvis. "That's trying to supply the team with opportunities to score.
"I just wanted to go out and get back to the form that I know I am capable of and put my stamp down on the game.
"It's been hard the last few weeks for all of us. But to get back to it and have a good 45 minutes and help the team to a much-needed win is a great confidence-booster for me."
Jarvis joined Wolves in 2007 from League Two side Gillingham.
