Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jamie O'Hara has confirmed that he is recovering from a hernia operation and is expected to return next month.
The 25-year-old was hit with the blow following a calf injury, which ruled him out of the side's 2-1 defeat to Stoke City on Saturday.
O'Hara posted on Twitter: "Just let all my fans know I had a double hernia repair last night and I'm recovering in hospital now, op went well and hope 2 be back in jan."
The former Tottenham Hotspur playmaker will miss Wolves' match against Arsenal on Boxing Day.
