Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves has claimed that his side deserved more than just a point from their Premier League clash with Everton this evening.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side twice needed to come from behind against the Toffees at Molineux, despite enjoying a numerical advantage for more than half of the match following Phil Jagielka's red card.
Neves was the scorer of Wolves' first Premier League goal since 2012, and the 21-year-old believes that his side deserved to take all three points.
"It was a very good Premier League game against a good team. We controlled the game," Neves told BT Sport.
"I think we deserved a little bit more. I'm happy to help the team. We want more, we need to work a little bit more to get a win."
Wolves' second game of the season sees them take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium next Saturday.
