Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Dean Saunders has admitted that his side lacked a killer instinct in their goalless draw with Derby County.
Saunders is yet to win a game since replacing the sacked Stale Solbakken at the helm of Wolves last month.
He told the club's official website: "It maybe just needed someone to anticipate and poke the ball in the net with that killer touch in front of goal.
"We just didn't have it today and on the balance of play we should have taken at least one of those chances."
Wolves are currently 21st in the Championship and are just one point clear of the drop zone having played 32 games this season.
