Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Cardiff City regarding the signing of Adam le Fondre.
The 28-year-old announced last week that he will leave the Welsh outfit either on loan or on a permanent basis.
Today, via Wolves' official Twitter account, manager Kenny Jackett confirmed that the Championship outfit have been given permission to speak to Le Fondre, who will be at the club today.
While the extent of the deal is yet to be announced, according to BBC Sport, the transfer is expected to be a season-long loan.
The forward, who joined Cardiff from Reading last year, spent the second half of last season on loan at Bolton Wanderers.
