Kevin Foley: 'Don't write us off'

Kevin Foley believes that Wolves' "never say die" spirit can allow them to beat the Premier League drop this season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kevin Foley has warned against writing off his side's Premier League survival chances.

The West Midlands club currently sit bottom of the table and are without a win in five games since Terry Connor's appointment as manager.

Despite their poor form, Foley believes that Wolves can surprise people by bouncing back and beating the drop.

"After the last few results and at the stage we are in the season I think everyone has probably written us off," he said.

"We are used to being in this position and hopefully we can show some character and come through these next nine games and stay in the league. It's that sort of attitude, that never-say-die spirit of everyone being in it together, that we need so we can fight as hard as we can over these next nine games.

"It can be done - we've still got a good chance. It might just be one result or one performance which turns things around."

Foley has made 15 appearances for Wolves this season.
