Steven Fletcher's quickfire double gave Wolves victory as they completed a fightback against Sunderland this evening.
The Scottish international scored twice in eight second-half minutes to give Mick McCarthy a welcome win.
In a first half of few chances Keiren Westwood saved brilliantly for Sunderland from Stephen Hunt's close range effort before Stephen Ward cleared off the line from Stephane Sessegnon's effort at the other end.
Kieron Richardson gave the visitors the lead with an early shot that deceived Wayne Hennessey at his near post.
The Black Cats' top scorer Sebastian Larsson then had the chance to double the lead from the spot. The Swedish international went down softly under the challenge of Jody Craddock only to see his tame effort saved by Hennessey.
Mick McCarthy's side then promptly went up the other end and punished Larsson for his miss within 25 seconds.
Fletcher met Matt Jarvis's cross with a downward header that squirmed past Westwood before completing the comeback eight minutes later.
He volleyed home after the ball appeared to strike Jamie O'Hara's arm to give the home side all three points.
