Bruno Lage 'left unhappy with John Ruddy Wolves exit'

:Headline: Bruno Lage 'left unhappy with John Ruddy Wolves exit':
Head coach Bruno Lage is reportedly unhappy that a boardroom decision contributed to goalkeeper John Ruddy leaving on a free transfer.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers hierarchy - rather than head coach Bruno Lage - reportedly made the decision to release goalkeeper John Ruddy.

Earlier this week, Ruddy announced that he was ending his five-year spell at Molineux, the assumption being that a chat with Lage after the Liverpool game had led to a parting of the ways at the end of his contract.

However, according to Alex Richards of The Mirror, the decision was primarily made by executive chairman Jeff Shi and technical director Scott Sellars.

The report claims that Lage has been left unhappy by having his opinion overlooked with Ruddy an experienced and established number two to Jose Sa.

The Portuguese is said to be having a meeting with Shi and Sellars to discuss the decision and others which have been made "above his head".

While Wolves posted a 10th-placed finish in the Premier League standings this season, they accumulated just 11 points from their final 14 games, losing eighth spot on the final day of the campaign. body check tags ::
