Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Matt Doherty has revealed that he will not hold contract discussions with the club until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has just 15 months remaining on his current deal, but he has opted instead to concentrate on the team's battle against relegation from the Championship.
"Nothing has been said. We're just going to leave it until the end of the season," Doherty is quoted as saying by the Express & Star. "I just want to concentrate on the games and get them out of the way first.
"I don't need distractions where I'm on the phone every day, thinking 'what's this? What's been said?' So it's just being left until the end of the season."
Doherty arrived at Wolves from Irish side Bohemians in 2010.
