Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle has moved a step closer to completing a move to the Colorado Rapids after holding talks with the MLS franchise.
Doyle has been repeatedly linked with a switch across the Atlantic in recent weeks, and Wolves boss Jackett has confirmed that the Republic of Ireland international, who was on loan at Crystal Palace earlier this season, has been given permission to talk to the Rapids.
"He's talking to Colorado today," Jackett revealed to the Express & Star. "I don't know how those talks have gone but he is talking to them about a move."
Doyle, whose contract expires in the summer, has not played in a competitive game for Wolves in over a year.
