Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that midfielder Dave Edwards has extended his stay at Molineux by signing a new two-year contract.
The Welshman, whose contract was due to expire this summer, scored six goals and made seven assists last season, which ended in Wolves being crowned League One champions.
"I'm really delighted to get it done and dusted and to now know that my future lies at Molineux," Edwards told the club's official website.
"I've thoroughly enjoyed my time since I came here and especially at the moment with the way the club is going – it's great to be a part of it and hopefully ride this crest of the wave for another good season next year.
"If Wolves were going to give me a contract offer which I was pleased with there was never any other place I wanted to be."
The 28-year-old, who joined Wolves six years ago, is closing in on 200 appearances for the club.
