Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy is reportedly preparing a contract offer for former Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.
The 27-year-old, who is currently out of action with a broken leg, was released by Wolves following their relegation to League One.
According to the East Anglian Daily Times, McCarthy is interested in signing the forward who he brought to Molineux in 2008.
Crystal Palace have also been linked with a move for the former Manchester United striker, but it is understood that Ebanks-Blake wants assurances over first-team football.
