Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has confirmed that defender Richard Stearman is in talks with Fulham regarding a potential move before the end of the transfer window.
Stearman was left out of the Wolves starting lineup for their fixture with Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon, and reports soon emerged that a bid in the region of £2m had been accepted for the 28-year-old.
After witnessing Wolves return to form with a 2-1 victory, Jackett told reporters that a "football decision" had been made regarding the departure of the defender, who has made 234 appearances for the Black Country outfit.
Stearman's contract had been due to expire next summer.
