Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has insisted that Kevin Doyle will not be allowed to leave the club during the upcoming loan window.
The Republic of Ireland striker had been tipped to leave Molineux during the recent summer transfer window, but no move materialised before Monday's 11pm deadline.
Further reports have claimed that the 29-year-old could depart on a temporary basis when the chance arises for Football League clubs to do business next Monday, but Jackett has poured scorn on those rumours.
"There's no suggestion of letting him out on loan," Jackett is quoted as saying by the Express & Star.
The manager also claimed that he was keen to keep hold of Bakary Sako.
