Kenny Jackett: 'Right time to recall Jamie O'Hara'

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett is pleased that Jamie O'Hara is now back in the picture for a place in the squad.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has insisted that it was the right time to bring Jamie O'Hara back into the first-team fold.

O'Hara was transfer-listed in the summer but a move did not materialise and after four months out of the first team he was named as a substitute in the 2-1 win over Bradford City on Sunday.

"It was a footballing decision - I've had no pressure from above me to select him on Saturday or to bring him back into the training group," Jackett PA Sport quotes O'Hara as saying.

"I have to make decisions every day and every week. You can't get all of those right but decisions have to be made. When I had a problem with Jack Price on Friday morning, I felt at that particular time it was the right decision for the good of the team and the club [to bring O'Hara back].

"Other players have got moves but it hasn't happened for him. If he can be an asset to us and is capable of shaping our season and helping us to promotion, it will have been a good decision."

The win over Bradford moved Wolves up to second in League One.
