Mick McCarthy has revealed that he is keen to bolster his Wolverhampton Wanderers squad during the January transfer window.
The Molinuex-based outfit have struggled for large parts of the current season, losing six of their opening 11 matches.
However, a win in their last outing against Wigan Athletic has lifted McCarthy's side up to 13th in the Premier League table.
Nevertheless, the boss is keen to add to his ranks in a bid to improve their chances of fighting off the threat of relegation.
"We'll be looking to do something in January, definitely," McCarthy told the Express and Star. "Myself, Jez Moxey and Steve Morgan will sit down and have a discussion about that.
"If we can get anybody it would be important to freshen the squad up.
"If there's players around we can get and do something to improve us as a squad or as a team, we'll try to do it."
Wolves travel to Everton on Saturday afternoon.
