Dean Saunders has revealed that he is in no hurry to bolster his Wolverhampton Wanderers squad.
The Championship side are yet to record a victory since Saunders took control of the club earlier this month.
However, Saunders has insisted that he does not need to make wholesale alterations to his playing staff before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
"We need just a bit of tinkering around, I don't think major surgery is needed. The longer we can leave it, the better, because as time goes on I'm getting a clearer idea about what we need," the Welshman told the Express & Star.
"I don't want to panic buy and bring a player in who's not as good as what we have got. These players are good. They have just had the stuffing knocked out of them.
"If they play like they can play, we won't have to sign any players, so I will try to leave it as late as possible."
Wolves are currently 17th in the Championship table.
