Newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly already struck a £3m deal to have Callum Wilson play for them in the Championship next season.
The Coventry City striker is the third top scorer in League One this season despite suffering from some injury problems, netting 21 goals in 34 appearances.
Wolves secured a return to English football's second tier at the first attempt last weekend and manager Kenny Jackett has started looking at players who could improve his squad.
He is apparently keen to secure the services of 22-year-old hotshot Wilson before other clubs display an interest, and the Coventry Telegraph claims that personal terms have already been agreed.
It would be the second time in the space of six months that Wolves have raided Coventry for a striker after they paid an initial £750,000 to re-sign Leon Clarke in the January transfer window.
