Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly locked in a head-to-head battle with Italian giants Inter Milan for the signing of Lyon midfielder Lucas Tousart.
The 22-year-old has been with the Ligue 1 outfit since 2015 and featured 29 times last season as they finished third in the standings.
Tousart is currently away with the France squad at the Under-21 European Championships and skippered his side to a 2-1 win over England on Tuesday night.
Despite also featuring in the Champions League for Lyon last term, new manager Sylvinho is thought to regard him as surplus to requirements and will allow him to leave the club this summer.
According to Calciomercato, Inter and Wolves are the frontrunners to land Tousart, who has four years remaining on his current deal.
Wolves have so far completed just one piece of transfer business this summer, bringing in striker Raul Jimenez on a permanent £35m deal.
