Southampton forward Sam Gallagher is reportedly attracting interest from the Championship.
Gallagher recently signed a long-term contract at St Mary's, but the Premier League outfit are reportedly keen for the 21-year-old to spend another season out on loan.
According to the Birmingham Mail, both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Birmingham City have shown a desire to bring the England Under-20 international to the West Midlands.
During the last campaign, he netted 11 times in 43 Championship appearances for Blackburn Rovers and he would likely be regarded as first-choice at either Wolves or the Blues should be move to either club.
Wolves' two forwards - Nouha Dicko and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson - only contributed six goals between them last season, while Clayton Donaldson was the only Birmingham player to net in double figures with 11 goals being scored at the second tier.
