Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has reportedly made a bid for Coventry City forward Leon Clarke.
According to the Express & Star, Wolves have had a £300,000 offer rejected for their former striker, with the Sky Blues reportedly seeking a seven-figure fee.
Clarke's strike partner Callum Wilson is also said to be on Jackett's radar, but an eight-week layoff with a shoulder problem could see the League One side remove their interest.
Leicester City attacker Martyn Waghorn is another option for the West Midlands club, but he could be offered an opportunity to remain in the Championship.
Wolves completed the signing of Wigan Athletic man Nouha Dicko earlier this week.
