Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that teenage defender Cameron John has signed a new two-year contract with the club.
The 18-year-old centre-back has put pen to paper on a new deal which will keep him at Molineux until 2020 with the option of a further year.
John was an integral part of Scott Sellars's Under-23s side during last season's Premier League 2 campaign and has started both of the team's league games so far this term.
"We're delighted for Cameron to extend his stay and continue his development at the club for at least another two years," said Wolves sporting director Kevin Thelwell.
"We've seen him come on leaps and bounds in the last two seasons with the Under-18s and Under-23s and I'm looking forward to see how that continues this season."
John was also part of the Wolves first team's pre-season tour of Switzerland along with five other Under-23s players.
