Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly close to finalising a deal with Benfica to sign Raul Jimenez on a permanent basis.
The Premier League side have made signing the Mexican striker a priority following his impressive debut campaign at Molineux.
Jimenez, who has scored 15 goals for Wolves since joining on loan last summer, recently admitted that he "would like to stay" with the West Midlands outfit.
According to The Telegraph, Wolves expect to make an announcement on the 27-year-old's future in the next two months.
Wolves are supposedly prepared to hand over £25m for Jimenez, which would make him their club-record signing.
Jimenez was named man of the match as Nuno Espirito Santo's side saw off Manchester United 2-1 in this month's FA Cup quarter-final tie.
