Wolverhampton Wanderers have exercised the recall clause in the loan deal that took Jed Wallace to Millwall.
The winger switched to the League One side in January and has gone on to make 14 appearances, eight of which he ended up on the winning side.
However, having impressed during his stint at The Den, Wallace will now return to his parent club.
"Jed is a terrific young man. He has made a fantastic contribution since joining us and I thank him for his efforts," Millwall manager Neil Harris told the club's official website.
"Jed is an exceptional talent and we have really enjoyed having him as part of our group for the last few months.
"It is a shame that he is heading back earlier than we hoped but we appreciate that Jed can return to Molineux and have a major impact for the rest of the season at Wolves."
Wallace, 21, recently revealed that he was "loving" his time with the Lions.
