Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has begun strengthening his squad ahead of next season by recruiting Portsmouth midfielder Jed Wallace.
The 21-year-old, whose impressive performances this campaign saw him recently named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year, has passed a medical and agreed a three-year contract at Molineux.
Wallace broke into the Pompey ranks in January 2013, going on to establish himself as a key player by scoring 24 goals in 121 appearances since then.
"We are delighted to have completed a deal to sign Jed," Jackett said upon completing his first summer signing.
"He is a young player with a very bright future who has played a lot of football for a 21-year-old and is now ready to make the step up to the Championship. I am looking forward to working with him in the new season."
Wallace has been capped on one occasion at Under-19s level for England.
