Wolverhampton Wanderers have secured the loan services of Jeremy Helan from fellow Championship club Sheffield Wednesday.
The versatile Frenchman has made 22 appearances for Wednesday this season, the last of which came during January's 1-1 draw with Reading.
However, the former Manchester City player will now spend the remainder of the campaign at Molineux.
"He's an attacking player and has a lot of pace and power, which is something we need in either position. We're very pleased to add him," head coach Kenny Jackett told the club's official website.
"He gives us natural balance on the left side, we've had a considerable amount of injuries down there.
"He can play wide left or at left-back. I think he's capable of both and he's comfortable in either depending on the system that you play."
Helan has made 140 appearances and scored four goals for Wednesday following his arrival from Man City in 2012.
