Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly targeted a loan move for Leicester City striker Chris Wood when the window re-opens tomorrow.
After failing to agree personal terms with the New Zealand international in the final days of the recent summer transfer window, Kenny Jackett will attempt to bring Wood to Molineux on an emergency loan, according to the Daily Mail.
Wood's chances to play much football for Leicester in the Premier League look slim with summer signing Leonardo Ulloa already netting twice in three games for the Foxes and David Nugent and Jamie Vardy ahead of him in the pecking order.
The 22-year-old has said that he wants to remain with the Foxes and does already have a top-flight goal to his name after netting the late equaliser against Everton on the opening day of the season last month.
