Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly been monitoring young Inter Milan centre-back Zinho Vanheusden with a view to making a bid this summer.
The 19-year-old joined the Italian giants in 2015 but has yet to make a senior appearance for the side, instead spending the last 18 months on loan with his boyhood club Standard Liege.
According to Belgian newspaper Het Belang van Limburg, Wolves and Premier League rivals Southampton have held preliminary talks over a deal for Vanheusden, who has three years remaining on his current Inter contract.
The publication also claims that Liege are keen to make their loan move permanent - an option preferred by the player himself - but the Belgian side could be easily outmuscled by the two English sides in the wages department.
Wolves have also been linked with an ambitious move for Inter attacker Ivan Perisic.
