Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro.
The newly-promoted Premier League side made a number of additions during the summer transfer window, and Sturaro was frequently linked with a switch to Molineux.
However, according to Record, Wolves pulled the plug on any approach for the Italy international due to the asking price set by the Italian giants.
The report claims that the Serie A champions wanted Wolves to pay £17.8m for the 25-year-old, resulting in the West Midlands side pulling out of the race for the player's signature.
Sturaro has since penned a season-long loan deal with Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon.
