Yeovil Town midfielder Joe Edwards is calling on supporters to create an atmosphere similar to the one generated against Sheffield United in last season's playoff semi-final.
The Glovers, who are currently bottom of the Championship table following their 0-0 draw at Ewood Park on Friday, face Huddersfield Town at Huish Park on Monday afternoon.
Yeovil overcame the Blades in last season's playoff semi-final clash, overturning a 1-0 first-leg defeat in front of their own supporters, before eventually seeing off Brentford at Wembley to secure a place in the Championship.
"The fans have been with us the whole season and you can't fault them, they've been home and away," Edwards told the club's official website. "If we can create an atmosphere sort of like that Sheffield United game that would be brilliant and it would give the lads a boost.
"Hopefully we can put in a performance like that and get the result on Monday. Seeing the effort here no one believes that we're down yet so we'll give that 110% every game and if we get that win on Monday it gives us every chance.
"Maybe a few teams who thought we were dead and buried may start looking up at us and start getting a bit nervous and wonder what's going to happen. If we get that win on Monday it will be massive for us and we'll be able to go into the next two games with confidence."
Yeovil follow Monday's game with fixtures against Brighton & Hove Albion and Middlesbrough.
