Doncaster Rovers have soared to the top of the 2014-15 League One table after thrashing Yeovil Town 3-0 away at Huish Park this afternoon.
It did not take long for Paul Dickov's side, relegated from the Championship last season, to open their account against their fellow demotees, as Curtis Main dinked the ball past the onrushing Chris Weale after just eight minutes to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
Towards the end of the first half, James Coppinger lashed a ball from 20 yards towards the Glovers goal, but the effort hit the side netting.
Yeovil were more composed in the opening stages of the second half and saw more of the ball, but they had to withstand several dangerous counter-attacks from the visitors.
The Glovers soon conceded again, as Harry Forrester sent an audacious lob over Weale from 20 yards to make it 2-0 just after the hour mark.
In the final minute of added time, Theo Robinson added gloss to the scoreline as he sent another ball high above the beleaguered Weale and into the net.
