York City have moved five points clear of the relegation zone in League Two after scoring three second-half goals to beat Dagenham & Redbridge at ​Bootham Crescent.
Ryan Bowman opened the scoring, before a Wes Fletcher brace made sure of the victory, giving the Minstermen their sixth league win of the season - their second of 2014.
Rhys Murphy scored his 12th goal of the campaign 10 minutes from full time, but a Dagenham comeback was never threatened.
The result sees York climb to 17th in the table, while Dagenham remain 10th.
