Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso believes that the pace of Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen was good in the opening race of the 2013 season but feels his team will have no problem matching it in the future.
Raikkonen finished first in the opening grand prix of the season in Melbourne while the Spaniard had to settle for second.
He told reporters: "I think the pace of the Lotus was very good, but nothing that we could not do.
"They had a very clean race, with no traffic and a very good strategy, but the pace was nothing out of reach."
The second race of the season takes place this weekend in Malaysia.
