Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has targeted an improvement in performance from Silverstone for the weekend's German Grand Prix.
Alonso managed third place in the British Grand Prix, but said that Ferrari were off the pace all weekend and hopes that the car will perform better in Germany.
"We need to answer what is our real performance," Alonso told DPA. "We have been very good this year apart from the Silverstone weekend where we were not competitive, not good enough to fight with the top guys.
"So I am curious to see if it was only one race or whether we lost performance somewhere."
Ferrari are currently third in the constructors' rankings.
