Fernando Alonso has distanced himself from reports that he has already signed a contract to drive for McLaren Honda next season.
The two-time world champion has been heavily linked with a move to the Woking-based constructor for a number of weeks, with Sebastian Vettel all but certain to replace him at Ferrari for 2015.
Alonso was thought to have agreed a contract to race for McLaren for the next two seasons.
However, The AP reports that the Spaniard is "considering what's the best decision" and that "nothing has been decided" regarding a drive for the future.
Alonso is also quoted as saying that he has "an idea" of what he wants to do in 2015.
The 33-year-old finished sixth in last weekend's United States Grand Prix.
