Ferrari supremo Maurizio Arrivabene has claimed that Kimi Raikkonen is a man reborn as the team prepares for the 2015 season.
After topping the timesheets at Jerez earlier this month, Raikkonen was narrowly edged out of top spot by Daniel Ricciardo on day two of testing in Barcelona.
However, Arrivabene believes that the improvement in the Ferrari's car from last season is making the Finn much happier.
He told Autosprint: "Last year he did not get along with the car because the front was not what he liked. But that is different with the new car. Whoever thinks that Kimi has become a discontinued model overnight, is mistaken.
"He is demonstrating that these days, he is feeling the car better and he is smiling. This is very, very strange. It is the real scoop of the weekend."
The season-opening Australian Grand Prix takes place on March 15.
