Esteban Ocon has confirmed that he will race for Force India in 2017.
The French driver has been racing for Manor in the second half of the current campaign, but has now agreed a "multi-year deal" to join Mexican Sergio Perez at Force India.
The 20-year-old is contracted long-term to Mercedes, who provide Force India's engines, and will replace Nico Hulkenberg in the team as the German moves to Renault.
"Spending half a season at Manor Racing has given me some valuable experience and I feel ready for this," Ocon is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"It's something I've been working towards my whole life and I intend to grab this opportunity with both hands.
"I want to say thank you to everybody at Manor and especially to Mercedes-Benz for their support and belief in me. I can't wait for 2017 and my first full season racing in Formula One."
Ocon's best results for Manor this season have seen him finish 16th at the Belgian and Malaysian Grands Prix.
