Kimi Raikkonen is happy with his team's performance in qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix, despite his teammate Romain Grosjean finishing 12th in the second qualifying session.
Raikkonen was just 0.152 seconds behind Ferrari's Felipe Massa, with Massa's teammate Fernando Alonso finishing in third place.
"If you look at the lap time it looks to have been a pretty okay day," said Raikkonen.
"For sure there are things we have to improve and you never know what will happen tomorrow but it's a reasonable start to the weekend. We seem to be happy with the soft tyres and maybe not as happy with the harder ones.
"We've still got time to improve and we're certainly not struggling so it could be a good weekend."
Raikkonen is currently lying in second place in the 2013 Formula 1 drivers' world championship standings.
