The Lotus driver completed the course in 1:19.670 in what was his first outing in a Formula 1 car since 2009.
Scotland and Force India's Paul di Resta trailed Raikkonen, recording a best time of 1:19.772.
Red Bull's Mark Webber finished in fourth with a time of 1:20.496, while McLaren's Jenson Button ended the session in eighth, having clocked a time of 1:21.530.
