McLaren driver Fernando Alonso will fly to Kuala Lumpur this week to compete in the Malaysian Grand Prix.
The Spaniard missed the opening race of the season in Australia after he spent three nights in hospital for a heavy crash in winter testing.
However, he is set to return at Sepang after reportedly passing medical tests.
His advisor, Luis Garcia Abad, told reporters: "It is private so I cannot confirm or deny it, but I have no doubts he will go to Malaysia as planned."
Alonso joined McLaren from Ferrari over the winter.
