Suddenly, this weekend's Hungarian GP in Budapest is shrouded in a cloud of uncertainty.
Newly released photos and videos from the Hungaroring's paddock and pitlane reveal the aftermath of a severe summer thunderstorm on Wednesday, which occurred alongside forecasts of extreme heat.
Reports from the scene describe the pitlane flooding as reaching a depth of 20cm. A large screen for spectators was toppled by the ferocious winds, and intense hail inflicted damage on the roof of McLaren's paddock motorhome.
This motorhome had only been restored and returned to use at Silverstone, following a fire in Barcelona.
