Nico Rosberg has expressed his belief that Mercedes will put on a dominant display in Melbourne at the Australian Grand Prix as the team aim to defend their constructors' title.
Rosberg set the best time of 1:22.79 over the weekend in Barcelona, while his teammate Lewis Hamilton, who is the reigning Formula 1 world champion, topped the timesheets in Catalonia on Saturday.
"It has been a great winter for us," Sportal quotes Rosberg as saying. "We got off to a running start with not many reliability problems and have been doing the mileage, which was great and important. Now we are able to extract performance from the car.
"I am not 100% happy yet but we know what we need to do, so that is important, and that is why I am sure we will nail it completely in Melbourne."
The Australian Grand Prix gets underway on March 12.
