Lewis Hamilton will not change his approach to racing, despite leading the Formula 1 drivers' championship by 24 points.

Lewis Hamilton has insisted that he is not feeling any pressure as he looks to move closer to securing a second world title.

The Briton leads the drivers' standings from Nico Rosberg by 24 points going into this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix, and Hamilton is adamant that his approach to racing will not change despite having a sizeable advantage.

He told Formula 1's official website: "I do not come to the last two races with a particular gameplan. I come to this race with the same approach as the last few races, or even the whole season. I want to win a championship by winning races.

"I do feel a lot different than at the same time in 2007 or 2008. Now I feel excited and relaxed. We have a great team and a great car.

"If we just do what we have done in the races before, and even use what we have learned in the races before - that would even be better."

Regardless of the outcome of Sunday's race in Interlagos, the championship will go down to the final round in Abu Dhabi where double points will be on offer.
